Picture Your Dog in Times Square

What a great idea! I love my rottie and she really needs a vacation. I can't think of a better place to go with her on a girls only trip then New York City, and who better to protect me than her?

The best part is Purina will pay for it! Thank you Purina!

I guess I had better enter, even though my girl won't eat anything else but Nutro Max.

Supplemental Insurance Made Easy with New Interactive and Educational Web Site from Combined Insurance

Combined Insurance, a top provider of supplemental insurance, announces the launch of an enhanced interactive Web site designed to help consumers better understand supplemental insurance and the added protection these policies can provide to individuals and families.

The new site (with new URL http://www.combinedinsurance.com) was developed based on extensive consumer research which indicated that consumers desired an insurance resource that could help them understand supplemental insurance and the types of protection available. In addition, consumers also were looking for a resource to understand their unique needs.

According to Deborah O'Connor, vice president of Interactive Marketing for Combined Insurance, "We enhanced the Web site with our new value proposition 'Let's Make this Easy' in mind. The new site features consumer-friendly navigation and simple content that helps educate consumers about the products available and assists them in finding the right coverage for their family. The site also features customer stories that can help visitors relate their own personal concerns or situations with those of current, satisfied Combined customers."

By working with a leading supplemental insurance provider like Combined you can rest assured that you will be afforded with expertise and dedication to understand your family's needs.

O'Connor adds, "Current market research indicates that 70 percent of the North American population uses the Internet, and that in 2005, 50 percent of consumers who purchased insurance first researched it online. That number is expected to grow to 80 percent by 2010 so Combined's goal with the new Web site was to ensure we provided the most educational experience possible for consumers interested in learning more about the benefits of supplemental insurance."

The new site was designed and built by iCrossing and officially went live March 17. During its first week daily unique visitor traffic increased 40 percent, inbound consumer phone inquiries increased 4 times more than normal and the average length of visit increased 70 percent. The new design offers simple, intuitive navigation and customer case histories to help consumers quickly and easily learn more about supplemental insurance.

Introducing the New Combinedinsurance.com

"Combinedinsurance.com is an excellent example of how consumer insights and search data can work together to create an excellent user experience," said Tony Weber, director of strategy, iCrossing. "Our goal was to increase brand awareness, traffic and qualified leads, and make the site more 'findable' to those seeking supplemental insurance through search optimization. The initial results have been very positive."

The new site provides an enhanced user experience and greater consumer access with:

Customer and agent stories
Multiple ways for consumers to contact Combined Insurance
Industry information conveyed in an approachable, relatable tone

New Web Site Valuable in Agent Communication and Recruitment

"With more than 3,500 agents located across North America, the new combinedinsurance.com Web site will also serve as a valuable educational and recruiting tool for the organization," said O'Connor. "As our company continues to grow, we continually seek professionals interested in learning more about Combined Insurance and joining our team of agents. The new Web site offers stories from current Combined Insurance agents that provide an insight for candidates interested in a career in the supplemental insurance industry."

"To help job seekers find the content for which they are searching, we created multiple pathways to the careers section throughout the site, " added Weber.

New Web Site, Same Trusted Insurer

O'Connor continues, "By working with a leading supplemental insurance provider like Combined you can rest assured that you will be afforded with expertise and dedication to understand your family's needs."
